Rashi (Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, 1040 - 1105) continues to exert a
profound influence on hundreds of thousands of religious and lay students
worldwide - who refer to his commentaries on Torah and Talmud on a daily
basis.
In honor of the 900th anniversary of his passing, Judaism.com
seeks to raise awareness and appreciation of Rabban Shel Yisrael (Teacher of
Israel), as well as make his texts in translation available to all to seek
his wisdom. May the merit of the Righteous be for a blessing.
